Dave E for Model Number ghw9200 I appear to require a new user interface #8181866 for my Duet GHW9200 washer. During disassembly of the washer I have found that all the plastic clips that hold in the interface, as well as the clips on the interface that hold in the knob, are extremely fragile and snap off with the slightest attempt to unclip them. Assuming the pastic used in these interfaces has become brittle over time, and that all the parts were probably manufactured at about the same time, will the clips on a new user interface also be so brittle? The interface is very expensive. I would like to avoid buying one only to find that it is as brittle, as easily damaged, as my old interface. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you. -Dave
Answer Dave, The clips on the old interface breaking and brittle would most likely be from the age of the interface. The clips on the new user interface would not be brittle when received. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, December 5, 2013
