Rusty April 19, 2021 for Model Number GHW9200LW would like to know if you still carry washer parts, my front control panel has 2 broken green button plastic tabs and causing the washer not to run. The electronic board still works but the plastic tabs are broken because of heat and age. The part number is 8181866 and it is the plastic casing that holds and locks the electronic control board
1 Answer Rusty, The user interface WP8181866 for this unit unfortunately has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available. Read More...

Peggy June 22, 2015 for Model Number WTW4800XQ4 My washing machine won't spin or drain water. It sounds as if it is grinding rocks. It started with just not spinning, during the regular cycle, but if I put it on the drain/spin cycle it worked. Now..nothing. What do I need to replace to get this working again?
1 Answer Hello Peggy. Lean the unit back and inspect the large pulley W10721967 and see if it is bad and needs to be replaced on the unit. If it is good, then the gear box W11454741 is bad. Read More...
Randy March 07, 2014 for Model Number GHW9200LQ Whats the difference between the user interface for my model whirlpool washer and one for the GHW9300PWO? They look identical. I can get a used one from a local appliance place that has a damaged housing but like new controls for a fraction of the cost if it will fit.
1 Answer Hello Randy. Not sure what the difference is. It may be something to do with different features from one model to the next. When it comes to control boards it is always best to use the one the manufacturer says is for you specific model. Read More...
Susan February 20, 2014 for Model Number Whirlpool GHW9200LW0 Where is the user interface AP3128748 manufactured? The original plastic part from our machine was made in Germany and the circuit board was from Hungary - are the replacement parts also made in Germany and Hungary?

Dave December 28, 2013 for Model Number GHW9200LW Like a previous commenter, I disassembled the front panel and found all the plastic clips to be extremely brittle. At least half broke during the disassembly. This problem with brittle plastic is also the reason the washer is nonoperational. The plastic tab that is flexed by the start button to depress a button on the circuit board had broken off. The electronics and the mechanical parts of the washer work fine. I can operate the machine just fine by pressing the appropriate buttons on the circuit board. Unfortunately, I can't find the appropriate plastic part online (part # 4619 702 0336 1). On the other hand, a complete UI assembly can be bought for $230. I shudder to think about how many unsuspecting consumers paid for this assembly because a they didn't understand that a cheap piece of molded plastic failed. This appears to be a manufacturing defect. Is there any way to purchase the part that I really need? I'll junk the Whirlpool rather than pay for an entire UI.
1 Answer Dave, Unfortunately the casing for the UI board cannot be purchased as a separate part per the manufacturer. Read More...
Dave E November 24, 2013 for Model Number ghw9200 I appear to require a new user interface #8181866 for my Duet GHW9200 washer. During disassembly of the washer I have found that all the plastic clips that hold in the interface, as well as the clips on the interface that hold in the knob, are extremely fragile and snap off with the slightest attempt to unclip them. Assuming the pastic used in these interfaces has become brittle over time, and that all the parts were probably manufactured at about the same time, will the clips on a new user interface also be so brittle? The interface is very expensive. I would like to avoid buying one only to find that it is as brittle, as easily damaged, as my old interface. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you. -Dave
1 Answer Dave, The clips on the old interface breaking and brittle would most likely be from the age of the interface. The clips on the new user interface would not be brittle when received. Read More...

I assume this may be an electronic control module problem? Appreciate the help!
1 Answer Hello Gil. You need to check and see if the valve is not letting water into the correct compartment. Or if the dispenser selector switch is not rotating to the correct compartment. Read More...
