Linda G. for Model Number GHW9100LW2

Hi, my start button doesn't always work. Sometimes I have to push it several times on various parts of the button to work other times no problem . I read to press the pause /cancel button for a few seconds and then press the start button and that seems to work but that might be coincidence. So far I always manage to get it going but I want to fix the problem before it gets so bad that I without a washer completely. Do you think it's the user control and display board or does just the connection need to be cleaned? Thanks

Answer

Hello Linda, This could be a connection to the user interface or the user interface may need to be replaced. The only way to know for sure is to open the unit and see if unplugging each connector and re-connecting them corrects the issue. If it doesn't correct the issue, the user interface WP8181905 will need to be replaced.
