Sheryl for Model Number SQD22NBW I was getting hollow ice cubes and in doing research was told I needed to replace the ice maker. I did that. I got one batch of ice out of the new ice maker now nothing. It does cycle, I have opened the freezer door to find it "dumping" but watched and listened for the water to fill up and it didn't. I get water at the door no problem. Did I get a bad ice maker or do I now need a water valve?
Answer Hello Sheryl, The icemaker cannot cause hollow cubes. An insufficient water fill is the only thing that will cause this phenomenon. This is caused by low water pressure to the machine or a failing water valve WPW10245167. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 10, 2015
