Customer Questions and Answers for Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve by Whirlpool

Hello Joe. Pull out the refrigerator and remove the back cover. Disconnect the power and turn off the water to the refrigerator. Remove the screws holding the valve in place and remove the water valve. Remove the lines going to the old valve and install them onto the new valve. Remove the wires and install them on the new valve WPW10245167 as well. Reinstall in reverse order and check for leaks. There are no special tools needed for this repair. Hope this helps.
