Rd for Model Number CAWS9234VQ0 I have a Crosley brand name washing machine and when I place the temperature switch in the hot water position, the hot water will not turn on to fill the machine. I am currently using the cold water position on the switch, which works fine. I had a serviceman replace the temperature switch but I still cannot get hot water to flow into the machine when I turn the switch to hot water. I contacted another serviceman and he suggested that the Water Inlet Valve with Vacuum Break may not be working. Could this be my problem that I need to replace this part? Thank you for your time. RD
Answer RD, It would be recommended to check to see if the hot water supply screen is clogged by turning off the water and removing the hose. If it is clogged use a toothbrush and soapy water to clean. If it checks ok then this will likely be the water valve that is faulty. Read More...
