Jack for Model Number 110.45992400 i bought a replacement door lock assembly because i was getting an error code. i installed the new assembly and i am still getting the same error code. the wholesaler suggested i replace the circuit board because that usually burns out when the door assembly fails. does this sound right to you?
Answer Jack, Presumably you had a "DU" or "DL" error code. There is a possibility that the damaged door latch assembly could have damaged the CCU, but it's not as common on this model washer as the wholesaler suggested. You do want to recheck and make sure all the wiring harness connectors are properly seated in the board connectors and routed properly through the cabinet. Also check and make sure the door and door strike are properly aligned and engaging the latch assembly properly to the front panel, before you replace the CCU WP8182689. Read More...
