Bill for Model Number 11098752793 Can I remove the font panel of the washer to replace the washer lid switch or do I have to pull the unit out of the closet to get at it from behind?
Answer Bill, You won't have to move the unit out of the closet, but you'll need to remove the top of the washer, to access the lid switch. " 1. Remove the Transition Panel by removing the three(3) screws. Tip the panel down and lift it out. 2. Release the two washer top retaining clips and slide the washer top forward off the unit. 3. Remove the two(two) washer Front Panel retaining 5/16 " screws. Then remove the Front Panel brace and remove the Front Panel." You should have access to the lid switch, and can disconnect the wire harness and replace the lid switch assembly WP3355806. Thanks Read More...
