Frank for Model Number MGR6875ADB I have a Maytag 5 Burner range Model Number MGR6875ADB and water got underneath the ON / OFF Gas Knobs. The Igniter was clicking uncontrolably for about 10 minutes, then there was a burning smell then no more clicking. Now when I turn on Gas Knob no spark clicking.... I have to light with match. Which part do I need?
Answer Hello Frank, according to the model number and serial number beginning with 10. If you are having to light the one burner this happend to, you will need to replace the switch assembly which includes all 5 burner switches 12002791. If none of your burners are clicking, you might need a new spark module 74009098. Hope you find this information helpful, thanks! Read More...
