Evan for Model Number Amana ACC3660 cooktop One of four burners does not have a spark. I replaced the igniter on the burner with a new one, but still no spark. Is it possible that a defective spark module might only generate a spark at some of the burners, or if it is bad all would not ignite?
Answer Evan, Yes, it is possible for a spark module WP31962701 to faila single circuit, and not supply the high DC voltage to the igniter. In you case you want to make sure there aren't any loose connections at the terminal block conductors in the bay or on the burner cartridge. If all's OK suspect the spark module and replace it.
