Rich for Model Number GST9679LW0 (Whirlpool) When the washer reaches the spin cycle it turns off. Sometimes it's the first spin and sometimes its the second spin cycle. Each time it has only drained a little more than half way. I have to unplug for approx 30 minutes, turn it back on and it will finish the cycle. I have tried to leave it plugged in with just the switch off and it does not come back on until I unplug it. There is no burning smell. Thanks in advance.

If it were the motor getting hot, the unit would not need to be unplugged. Check the wiring and lid switch in the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, December 5, 2013
