Mrpoo for Model Number Whirlpool LSQ9659PG Washer fills, but does not agitate. Drain and spin is fine. When it is supposed to agitate, I do not hear any noise other than the timer ticking. Checked lid switch--works fine. Even tried jumper method to confirm. Pressure switch seems to be fine too--water stops when it is supposed to, and timer runs (I think pressure switch sends power to the timer). Have tried replacing the timer, the speed switch, and then both. Still same symptoms. Checked the voltage of the yellow/white wire when machine is supposed to be agitating--120. Checked voltage of orange wire from speed switch when machine should be agitating--120. Ruled out coupler as the machine spins during the drain. Help!!
Answer Mrpoo, With unit not agitating and only hearing the timer turn then this issue would be a faulty timer. The contact in the timer for the agitation is not making and causing agitation to not work. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 26, 2015
