Forrest for Model Number 110.82980120 This new switch. listed as a replacement part number, doesn't interchange with the original switch. The white starter circuit engagement lever that protrudes from the back of the black housing to engage the motor's centrifugal mechanism is too short, and the lever from the old housing is not interchangeable into the new housing. I had to disassemble both switches, and swap all ten brass terminals and their associated contactor assemblies (everything inside except the actuating lever) from the new switch housing into the old switch housing. My old contacts had burned, as a result of my old cracked housing allowing them to move around. Then, I had to repair my existing black housing with epoxy and some bits of plastic sheet so that all the new terminals were firmly seated. So - my washer does now work, but only perhaps 10% of the pieces of the purchased new switch were used, and I'm still stuck with a repaired original housing. This was not a simple repair. I do have a sequence of pictures showing the work.
