Barry S. for Model Number ET21DKXDW01 Replacing overload/relay w/capacitor. Only have 1 red wire and 1 white wire. The capacitor originally was in a piggyback aparatus which did not require a wire. How am I to connect the relay/overload and capacitor together. I know how to connect the relay and overload to the compressor just clueless about the capacitor.
Answer Hello Barry, The new relay has three terminals. The neutral wire connects to the side of the relay with two terminals on it. The capacitor connects to the other one and the terminal on the opposite side of the relay. The hot wire connects to the overload. Read More...
