Barbara, A couple of things to look for : on the back wall of the freezer compartment, is there a build up of frost or ice, that would indicate a defrost problem. If you turn the fridge control off, for a few minutes(at least 5 mins.), then turn it back on, do you hear a loud "click" from the back of the refrigerator ? That could confirm a bad relay or compressor. Otherwise, we'll need to check the cold control and defrost timer circuits, with a meter. Thanks and Good Luck.
