Hello Hans, Turn the power off to the unit and remove the screws to the door liner to gain access to the control area. Remove the ribbon cable and use a dry pencil eraser to clean the ribbon cable. Be sure to note if any gaskets around the vent area appear to have been leaking since moisture will cause corrosion on the electrical connections. when you clean the ribbon cable, rub the connections only toward the end to prevent damage to the cable. If this produces no positive results, the issue can be with the control panel or the control board. The panel W10197307 is normally suspected before the control board WPW10218838.
