Elmer W. for Model Number MDB5601AWQ Replacing door latch unit notice that clips were latch sets were gone. Is there a fix for replacement wihtout replacing the whole control panel. Does this effect the latch lock locking and unlocking.
Answer Hello Elmer. If just the clips that hold the latch inplace are missing, then you will be fine. The two screws in the center of the inner door panel hold the latch assembly in place. It should work properly. If the control panel 6-919819 is broke, then you will need to replace the control panel. Hope this helps. Read More...
