I recently ordered a water filter bypass cap AP6010003, which about a year ago this site told me was what I needed for my refrigerator, but it was out of stock. I checked your site again because my refrigerator started beeping every time we used the water dispenser. The part was in stock, so I just ordered it, but now I discover it is not compatible, per your chart, nor is a part like that listed for my refrigerator. Thank in advance for your help! Answer Lynne, your model would not need a bypass cap due to the design of the filter housing W11194438. The filter housing has a built-in bypass system that will close off the filter entrance allowing the water to be used as normal.
