Jennifer for Model Number MAH5500BWW Got nd error. Checked all the hoses which are clear. Removed pump. How do I check it when out of the washer? There are no obstructions inside. The impeller appears intact. It does not turn freely but does move and return to first position when released. Will it help to check continuity or another multimeter chedk? Any help much appreciated.
Answer Jennifer, There are 2 terminals on the pump that if you apply 120 vac to it then you will be able to see if it is working. If it does not then replace the pump. If it does then check the pressure switch hose to make sure that it is not clogged and that the pressure switch is resetting to empty. Read More...
