Mark for Model Number LSR5132PQ0 I think I have a bad pump and have removed it for inspection. With the pump removed, I stuck a tool in the outlet to turn the impeller and it turned very hard. How freely should it turn and what else should I look for? Thanks.
Answer Mark, You've looked far enough, the impeller shaft should turn rather freely, especially if you're using a tool. Apparently the pump shaft bearings are starting to seize and cause a "drag" on the motor. Replace the pump WP3363394 and you should be fine. Read More...
