Missy for Model Number It's a washer by whirlpool, a roper... My washer isn't draining, when I turn the knob to spin it won't spin either, it would wash but it won't go to the next cycle and I smell a burn like rubber smell when it's sitting on the cycle to drain. Also sometimes it makes a humming noise and if I stop it and try again it doesn't do anything canyon please help
Answer Hello Missy. You will need to check the lid switch and the timer on the unit. Either could cause the issue you are having. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
