Ray for Model Number 11020172001 I have the Kenmore commercial coin op washer, model # 11020172001. Washer stops in the mid cycle and it won't drain the water leaving it half full of water and just stops and sits there. The first time that happened after I replaced the drive block, I tried to test it, opened and closed the lid after washer stopped mid cycle, it gives me a buzzing/humming sound for about 15 seconds and it washed normal again...I also replaced the lid switch assembly thought that might be the fix..but today the same problem started again. Please help.
Answer Ray, First check the drain pump WP3363394 Make sure it's not clogged, jammed or seizing up. If the pump is OK, start at the timer WP3955668, since the lid switch is new and operates, and the motor does run in the wash cycle, check or replace the timer. The contacts inside the timer could be worn or damaged causing the motor to hum and overheat in the drain/spin cycle. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, July 15, 2015
