Daniel for Model Number LSR6132HQ1 Whirlpool After wash and rinse, no water is in basket(where clothes get dropped into) but water is not fully drained out of the outer basket. (I believe this sitting water underneath is the cause of some smell coming from washer) No leaking on underneath on tile floor. How do I know if pump or timer is to blame? I am going to open up in 2 days (Sat) and see if drain leading to pump is clogged other than that, how do I test for timer vs. pump?
Answer Hello Daniel. If the unit goes into spin cycle and does not drain, and the hoses are not clogged, you will need to replace the pump assembly WP3363394. Check and see if the spindle on the pump is stripped out. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 29, 2011
