K-Man for Model Number WTW57ESVW0 How can I confirm that my Whirlpool water pump is not working....I took the washer a part and dumped the water out of the white water pump...no sock or lint was in the pump, but it was full of water. Washer is working fine, but only 2 inches of water is seating in the tub at the end of wash and the clothes are wet.
Answer Hello K-Man. You can check and see if the pump is roundeed out where it goes onto the motor and remove the drain hose and see if it pumps into a bucket. If not, and the drain hose is clear, and the tub to pump hose is clear, you will need to replace the pump WP3363394 on the unit. Hope this helps. Read More...
