Steve for Model Number lsn2000pw4 During the water fill stage (either during wash or rinse) the tub doesn't fill. Water "in" appears to work just fine for the setting, but water exits out the drain hose - as if a drain value is stuck open. Can you help? (PS: I replaced the timer control with a new one - no difference). Thanks.
Answer Hi Steve. This is called a siphon-lock. Look at the drain hose and pull it out of the standpipe. Make sure there is a gap in between the drain hose and the standpipe opening. It needs proper air also while it is draining. You may need to extend the standpipe higher then the top of the washer. Use a Y-pipe and a anti-siphon cap on the top of it to allow air to be drawn in while the drain pipe is in the side Y-portion. Use drain-o in the standpipe while doing this. Your drain hose is only needed to be inserted 6 - 8" only. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 8, 2012
