Sherri, First check for a kinked drain hose, or clogged drain line, this would be a possible issue for the leak when used (only). The other possibility for the leak and poor drain would be a drain pump issue WP3363394 it could be clogged and or the impeller is damaged, or the impeller shaft is seizing, etc. The squealing noise at the end of the cycle would be a brake shoe issue 285438 Here's a link to a APP Repair Forum post that should help you out.
