Hello Jeff, It would be much easier to help you diagnose the issue with a model number. Without it I can tell you to check the plumbing by dis-connecting the cold water line and putting it in a bucket. Turn the water back on and see if the water slows to a trickle. If it does, the issue is in the home plumbing. If it doesn't, the problem can be in the water valve. It's kind of hard to say since I cannot look up a wiring diagram or even see the configuration you have. I recommend you re-post with a model number so we can help you more specifically.
