Ed for Model Number Maytag mvwc5esxw0 During heavy load, the machine stopped working. I removed the clothes so just the water is in the tub. It's not spinning, and if I try to select spin, I hear humming and smell something electric. I see references to lid switch and pump, think its one of these?
Answer Ed, Yes, you'll want to check to see if there is something stuck between the tubs and or in the drain pump WP3363394.
