Hello John, The rear legs of these machines are made on a ratcheting device. As per the manufacturer, if these units are scooted even 1/4 of an inch, the unit should be re-leveled. Leveling these is not done with a bubble level but by simply equalizing the weight of the machine to each of the four feet so it doesn't wobble. This is done on this design machine by tilting the unit forward onto the front feet and the rear feet off the floor. When the weight comes off of the rear feet, the ratcheting device will make an audible "click". This sound is the device going back to the centered position. If you hear no sound when the unit is tilted forward, the device is most likely stuck due to rust or dirt build-up on the mechanism. In this case, you can tilt the unit forward and tap on one of the rear feet with a wrench or something to drop both rear legs to the centered position. When the unit is lowered back onto the rear feet it will be in its' centered position and should operate normally.
