Lazar for Model Number wtw583oswo When I turn on the washing machine to the heavy medium and light cycle it goes through those fine but when it drains and trys to refill again it does not fill up just keeps pumping water in but draining at the same time I replaced the water valve thinking it was that but it still has the same problem thought it might be the water pump but don't want to purchase one until I was sure.
Answer Hello Lazar. It sounds like the unit is siphoning out the water in the unit. Check and make sure there is only 6" of drain hose in the drain pipe. Also, make sure the drain pipe is 36" off the floor in height. You will need to check and make sure the drain hose has an air gap going into the drain pipe. If it is air tight, it will siphon.
