Answer Hello Paul. You will need to uninstall the dishwasher and lay it on its back. Then with one hand press the tab that secures the pump assembly, and with the other hand rotate the pump counterclockwise to remove. Reinstall in reverse order. To test the pump, you will use a multi-meter and check for voltage coming to the pump assembly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
