Kim for Model Number KUDS01FLWH6 My Kitchenaide dishwasher has been making a loud grinding noise and not emptying the water. I just changed the drain pump part #AP3133590. The old part was missing two blades. The machine still does not drain but the noise seems to be gone. I found some You Tube videos that helped me change the pump. I noticed in the video that the electric connections, based on wire color of blue and green, were reversed from my pump. Does this matter? Should I be looking at part circulation motor part # AP4434021 or AP4434617 Circulation pump and motor assembly? Thanks.
Answer Hello Kim. You will need to check and see if the drain hose for the unit is clogged. If so, it will prevent the unit from draining properly.
