Paul B for Model Number Sears 66516493300 Dishwasher cycle will not complete and therefore not drain. Drain hose appears to be clear to the garburator. How do I determine that it is the pump motor and not something else. I have tried the cancel button and closed the door to see if it would drain but no success. Is there a test sequence that I should follow. Do I need to reset the controller and if so what is the code. Thanks
Answer Hello Paul. Remove the hose from the pump and see if the water comes out there. If so, it is the hose. If not, test for power to the pump during drain. if power is there, and does not pump, replace the drain pump WP661658 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
