Nuno Is there any adjustment on the icemaker to make ice a little faster? On part # P5481921, Maytag MOD#ASD2625KEW ,SER#50240594LP, it makes fine but not as fast as the unit I replaced. Any help would be helpful, Thank you.
Answer Hello Nuno, Basically, the icemaker will cycle only as fast as the cycling thermostat makes connection. You can set the freezer temperature colder as long as it doesn't drop below zero. If it gets below 0°F, it will extend the harvest time. The only other way is to disassemble the icemaker and apply more thermal mastic, 5303307896 to the cycling thermostat to sense the temperature faster. Read More...
