Herminio N. for Model Number FRS23R4CWO My Frigidaire 2 door refrigerator has a water and ice feature that has been working very well for some years. Recently water puddles started accumulating in front of Fridge which ended up being a broken tube. The tube was replaced but now the icemaker doesn't work. I replaced a new water filter and still no ice. What could be the problem?
Answer Hello Herminio. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the water valve 242252702 when the icemaker cycles. If so, and the water does not come into the icemaker, you will need to replace the water valve. Also, make sure the fill tube is not frozen over. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
