Fred S. for Model Number ED2SHAXMT10 Ice maker does not work. Unit on the door works, auger turns, but does not get supplied with the ice from the ice maker mounted in the freezer section ? This has an infrared assembly that senses the amount of ice in the bin ? Any suggestions ! Thanks.
Answer Hi Fred. Please remove the bottom kick panel from under the doors. This will access you to the technician wiring diagram and tech. sheet. This will help you diagnose which part might have failed. The infrared sensors do "see' the amount of ice in the ice bucket. This part # is W11629974.
