Patty for Model Number ED5GTQXKQ00 When filling the Ice maker water squirts every where and creates a icy mess. What ever water gets into the unit takes 8 to 12 hrs. before the ice drops out to the tray. Sometimes if water stays in the water fill tube it just freezes. Should I replace the whole unit and if so, whats the model # for the unit and everything I need to order?
Answer Patty, It doesn't sound like an icemaker problem, not yet anyway, sounds more like a fill valve problem 4318046 or low water supply/pressure.
