Bill S. for Model Number FRS6R5ESBL Hi, When the ice maker goes through it's ice making cycle, the ice maker works just fine,. However, in each cycle, water comes out of the water dispenser on it's own (about half a glass full). What would cause this?Thanks,Bill Selby
Answer Bill, The first place to start, and the most likely situation is a malfunctioning fill valve 242252702. The diaphram under the yellow solenoid is coated or damaged and partially opens when the green solenoid valve opens to fill the icemaker. Good Luck and Thanks. Read More...
