Bill for Model Number mzd2665heb I replaced the ice maker but the new one won't make ice. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it to make sure that the wiring was plugged in properly and it still won't make ice. Is there some sort of on/off switch or setting that I don`t know about.
Answer Hello Bill. Did you put the shut off arm off the old icemaker onto the new icemaker? The shut off arm, in the raised position, turns the icemaker off. When it is in the down position, the icemaker is on. If all of this is good, you will need to look and see if the fill tube is frozen, or if you have a bad water valve WP67005154. Hope this helps.
