Wade for Model Number WTW7340XW2 I keep getting a "F 51" error code on my Whirlpool Cabrio Washer. I have replaced the Whirlpool W10178988 Sensor 4 times already. Each time I have taken the Motor Rotor off, I have noticed that it has worked it way loose. Can the loose Motor rotor cause a "F51" error because of the lack of connection with the stator? Today I once again replaced the sensor and now I am having difficulty replacing the rotor and locking it in place. It appears that it will not seat on the drive bolt correctly. What are my best options??
Answer Wade, The manufacturer says that this could be a rps sensor failure or lower harness problem. Check the wires for any damage or loose connection and yes if your rotor is backing off it could be the problem. The rotor is sometimes difficult because of the magnets. Make sure it is straight on the stator and try some Loctite on that bolt. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 19, 2018
