Jack for Model Number SF303PEPQ1 -Stove After trouble shooting my oven, I found that the gas valve above wasn't working correctly. I ordered a new one and installed it. Now I'm getting gas to the electric pilot, but it's way to much. When I turn the oven on, it's on full blast with flames well over 6" that can be seen coming through the bottom vents inside of the oven. Could the new part be faulty or is there something else wrong with the oven? Thanks for your help!
Answer Hello Jack. There's a good chance the valve WP98014893 needs changed over from LP to natural gas. Hopefully, you still have your old part. Gas parts are all sent out set up for natural gas so if you have LP you will have to swap the orifices out (be very careful to not get them mixed up). Hope this helps! Read More...
