John W. for Model Number TGP305RW2 I have an Oven that will not come on unless I tap the Oven Gas Valve with a screwdriver or some such tool. Is it a failure of the Gas Valve PN 98014893? The ignitor glows red when I turn on the Oven and Also at times I get a real small oven flame.
Answer Hello John. It sounds like you actually are forcing the valve open when you tap it. You could have a weak igniter W10918546, when you turn the oven on it should glow a bright red almost white.
