Rick for Model Number Whirlpool Gas Range Model No. SF375PEEW After a few days of not using the stove the auto ignition stops working on all 4 cooktop burners. There is no clicking noise but you can hear the gas flowing and can ignite the burner with a match. Over time, days to weeks, the clicking sound returns and the auto ignition returns to normal. Does the replacement of the Spark Module (AP4364254) sound like a solution for this recurring problem?
Answer Rick, You would want to check to make sure that the ignition switches are good by checking them for continuity. If they have continuity when they are in the on position then they are good. If they check ok then the spark module would be the most likely cause of failure. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 28, 2013
