Jim for Model Number CA2762XSN5 Hello On my older commercial Whirlpool washer that came with this property shakes on spin-cycle more than normal. I've found it has a slight rock from front-left <--> right-rear, no matter how much I unscrew the front-left foot. Seems the self-adjusting legs in back aren't seized, but don't set tight either. The only thing I see unusual is a slight divot worn in the metal ramp from the pin on the back-right, and small 2 divots worn in the ramp back-left. I've seen alot online about replacing the feet and spring in back, but not the whole self-adjust sheet metal mechanism, IF the small divots in the ramps are really the issue? I haven't simply tried grease yet on the pins/ramps, but will. I'll also spray-lube the metal strips that must slide together to expand-contract. I wonder if it's common for the spring to weaken, where it's dysfunctional? Or other common failure??? best, Jim ps. Is it true one must DROP the back of the washer 6" to get the rear legs to self-adjust??? I read that online :-)
Answer Jim, If you lift the back of the washer up several inches it will self-level when you drop it. This issue of the unit getting off-balance would be more common with the suspension pads that are faulty. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 26, 2021
