Leah for Model Number WTW4950XW2 Does this washer have a counter balance spring or just tub centering springs? It shakes and moves across the floor during the spin cycle so I took it apart and it looks to only have the suspension rods and tub balancing springs.
Answer Leah, There is no "counterbalance spring" on this model washer. The [W10257086] Damper Assembly, Tub Suspension rods and the [W10348658] Spring, Tub Centering are the suspension system for the washer. Check to make sure the floor and flooring is "solid", can support the washer weight,. make sure the washer is level and the feet are "locked" in place, check the bottom of the cabinet and frame to make sure it's not bent or damaged.
