Johnnyq for Model Number KUDW03CTSS3 KitchenAid Dishwasher upper spray arm not turning. I cleaned out the sump and screen and chopper assembly. I also cleaned and replaced the check valve sump assembly. I cleaned out the feed tube assembly. There are no blockages in the rear feed arm, valve assembly manifold or upper spray arm assembly. Since cleaning the sump...water pressure from lower spray arm seems great but the middle spray arm still wont spin. I am trying to determine if there may be an issue related to the "Valve Assembly Manifold" which contains two metal/steel balls. it appears to regulate water flow between the "Feed Tube Assembly" and the "Manifold Turbo Zone" The "Manifold Turbo Zone: is when the ProScrub feature is activated for cleaning pots. I cant seem to find any info on the operation of this unit. I was wondering if there is some type of electro magnet that controls the metal balls?
Answer Johnny, This issue would most likely be in the mainifold turbo assembly that is causing the issue. There is no magnet for this area but they could be getting stuck and not allow water flow. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, April 22, 2016
