Clem G for Model Number kitchen aid KUDKo3CCTWH3 Regarding the hub holding down the washer arm on the Kitchen Air dish washer KUDKOC3CTWH3 ( Whirlpool) what is the technique for re-installing I was using a pair of pliers and I broke the gripping flange at the top after several tries at locking it down. I need to get it right this time , what is the tool , what is the technique, thanks
Answer Clem, "Drop" the hub assembly WPW10077898 into the top of the supply tube WPW10077899 then install the seal WP8268340, set the spray arm onto the seal and install and turn the "thumbscrew" until finger tigth, use a pair of pliers and hold the thumbscrew, and turn the spray arm clockwise 1/4 turn to tighten the assembly.
