Stuball for Model Number KSRS27QGWH01 Delay in dispensing water. From time paddle is depressed to time water begins flowing has been increasing dramatically. Just stopped working altogether yesterday. I could hear the hum of the solenoid firing up just before dispensing. Of course, no longer. Definitely seems to be electronic part problem as water is dispensing for ice-maker, etc. Is this the correct part (AP3086666), that is, is the timer or solenoid or whatever on this part? Or what else could be causing the problem (10 year old fridge)
Answer Hello Stuball. Try removing the water line from the bottom of the freezer door and see if you get water there. If so, the water line inside the door may be frozen. If there is no water there, check the water tank inside the refrigerator and see if it is frozen. You can remove the water line from the wter valve WP2188542 and see if your getting water there.
