Randy for Model Number LAT8016AAE The washer will periodicly not start a cycle. I find it necessary to pull the center selector out and move the lower selector ring with a slight pressure to get the selector to register and begin the cycle. Is it the selector assembly or the timer? Once the cycle is started it runs all the way through.
Answer Hello Randy. You can try removing the knob and skirt to verify they are not damaged. It sounds like the shaft of the timer is actually on it's last limb. Please refer to the first two digits on the serial number for correct timer, if it's between 10-14 you will want to use 22001686, 15 and above will be WP22002181. Thanks! Read More...
