For the complete assembly including the switch order part number AP6006235.

  • Interruption of the wash cycle
  • Error codes indicating lid issues
  • Lid not locking properly

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Mary for Model Number LSE7804ACE Maytag washer

After I open the top lid to reconnect my wires, I realized I indicated the wrong colored wires when I asked my question. The original question is as follows: Copy of your question: "When reconnecting the Lid Switch control - part # 207166, What color wire, "red, white and yellow" goes to what plug? I forgot after I unplugged it." But the colors are actually BLACK, WHITE and ORANGE. I am really forgetful. Thank you for all your support.

Mary, The White wire will go to the NO on the switch, The yellow will go to the NC and the Red will go to the COM.
